Apparently come 2012, the ordinary good ol' fashioned light bulb will be off the market! They are pushing the little twisty florescent bulbs down our throats which wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so expensive AND harmful! So.... I did a little investigation cuz that's what I do when something really annoys me! LOL. That video on YouTube, I BELIEVE, was when Clinton was still in office. If you want to read a more recent article regarding light bulbs and their inevitable "extinction" visit this site: FAQ: The End of the Light Bulb as We Know It By Marianne Lavelle Posted December 19, 2007 http://www.usnews.com/articles/business/economy/2007/12/19/faq-the-end-of-the-light-b ulb-as-we-know-it.htmlAnd here's an even more recent article that Ima Lurkin found: New light bulbs can poison you February 26, 2008 http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1976948/posts

You aren't giving up on this are you?? The new bulbs are better. The mercury in them is minute and not a cause for alarm, other than from the tree huggers. The bulbs are much less expensive in the long run because a: they last longer; b: they cost less in energy consumption; c: because they annoy you (bonus!). If you are going to have to jump on a cause, do something about the FRIGGING gas situation!

All you have to do is Google Flourescent Bulbs and you will find all kinds of info. There are always pros and cons to anything. I'll take the energy savings any day over the small risk of mercury from these bulbs destroying the planet. Of course, you should trust anything I tell you anyway........want some candy, Little Girl.

Let me say this now, as too many of you have asked me why I'm so interested in light bulbs. I don't care about light bulbs. You all can use the old light bulbs, the new light bulbs.. or you can all can hit two problems at once and light your homes on fire to have light AND heat. I don't care. It's a damn light bulb. Why SOMEONE... I wont mention any names *cough cough admin cough cough* posted this under MY name and made me look like someone who... well... cares... is beyond me.... but I don't. Heheheheheeh I do like cheese however, so if anyone wants to have a conversation about that, hit me up. I feel very strongly about cheese. So yeah... that's all I got. CHEESE! _________________
