Saturday morning, Ed, my father-in-law, was in motorcycle accident. He has a "gash" from left to right above his eyebrows, a hairline fracture of his jaw, his shin was crushed, his hip was dislocated, his upper lip was split up to his nose, his nose was broken and his eye socket was dislocated. The jaw and eye socket (they say) will repair themselves.

He's awake and doing well....

As for me... Last night my dogs attacked each other and when i tried to get them apart they tore up my right hand! Nice, huh? I was in the emergency room last night and I had to see a hand surgeon today. My hand will be ok, but it will take time to heal and I can't really use it right now...

There you have...

If God plans on striking me dead, I wish he'd just get it over with... I have had enough!!!

Everything will be ok. If we experinced zero hardship in life, then life would not exist. Take these recent challenges and overcome them. I just found out that i'm going to have lyme disease related heart problems for the rest of my life since the "cures" did nothing for me. We must not let these things change our outlook on life. Have faith. Don't let this test pull you down to the beast's level, for that is was he wants to happen. Show him your supiroir to him in every way, shape, and form.

You know for as long as we have lived bad luck has run in our family. It's shitty and you've definitely had your fill this month, that's for damn sure. I'm glad that you are doing better and that Ed is awake and getting ready to go into rehab. I hope he gets better soon and I hope your hand heals soon so you can chit chat away on your forum with us. If you need anything, you know where to find me. And remember, one day you will look back on all of this..... and slam into a parked car. Then you'll be making a similar post and the irony on that will not be lost of any of us.
